“I had a very positive experience with Parvej Khan and felt I made good progress in my rehabilitation under his care. Khan always let me know ahead of time which days and what time he was coming, and he always arrived exactly on time. Khan remained focused on having me get through the knee exercises he introduced each session. He presented a variety of exercises so that I wouldn’t get bored by just repeating the same ones in the same order each time. He weaned me from the walker and taught me how to use a cane correctly. He had me practice going up and down the steps to the front entry to my apartment, as well as walking on grassy terrain. During his last week with me, he gave me the confidence I needed to walk inside my apartment without the cane. He encouraged me when I felt discouraged. What I especially liked was how Khan modified and adapted the knee exercises to fit my abilities. He did a lot more than just walk me through the generic exercises that were preprinted on the handout. he was very creative in developing a program for me with variety of exercises that were challenging but which I was able to accomplish. he then put this program onto the app for me on my iphone. I certainly hope that I ever PT care at home in the future, Khan can be my therapist again.”
